How Kemadruma Yoga is formed
No planet occupies the 2nd, 12th, OR any kendra (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th) counted from the Moon. The Moon must sit alone with no support on either side and no anchors in the angles.
Effects when Kemadruma Yoga is present
Classical: poverty, mental restlessness, social isolation. In modern reading: a tendency to feel emotionally unsupported, slow career start, decisions made in isolation. The yoga is widely overstated — there are multiple cancellations: (1) any planet in kendra from Lagna, (2) the Moon in kendra from a strong planet, (3) Moon-Mercury or Moon-Jupiter conjunction, (4) Moon exalted or in own sign. In practice, an actually-binding Kemadruma is rare.
- Emotional isolation or slow social anchor
- Career and recognition slow to build

Frequently asked questions about Kemadruma Yoga
How is Kemadruma Yoga cancelled?
Multiple ways: planets in kendra from Lagna, Moon in kendra from a strong planet, Moon conjoined with Mercury or Jupiter, Moon in its own sign (Cancer) or exalted (Taurus). Any one cancellation neutralises the yoga.
How often does an uncancelled Kemadruma actually exist?
Rarely — perhaps 1 in 20 charts. The yoga is famous out of proportion to how often it actually binds.
