How Vipreet Raja Yoga is formed

Lords of the 6th, 8th, and 12th houses (Dusthana lords) conjoin, mutually aspect, or exchange signs — among themselves only. Connection with kendra/trikona lords does NOT form Vipreet — it must be Dusthana-with-Dusthana. Three types: Harsha (6th lord involved), Sarala (8th), Vimala (12th).

Effects when Vipreet Raja Yoga is present

Adversity becomes the launching pad. Native rises through obstacles — competitive exams, legal cases, hostile takeovers, medical recoveries — where the very forces that would defeat someone else become the platform. Lawyers, doctors, politicians who rise via opposition research, hostile-environment professionals all benefit. The yoga activates in the Dasha of the involved lords.

  • Adversity → platform pattern
  • Lawyers, doctors, surgeons, politicians, intelligence work
  • Three named variants: Harsha (6th), Sarala (8th), Vimala (12th)
  • Activates in Dasha of the involved Dusthana lords

Classical reference

Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra and Mantreshwara's Phaladeepika — the three named Vipreet variants.
