Questions parents ask
Is Commerce after 10th actually a good decision astrologically?
For a wide range of charts, yes — Commerce is the most flexible stream because it branches into corporate finance, banking, family business, marketing, and entrepreneurship. The chart tells you whether your child is a generalist (Commerce works broadly) or a specialist (the chart will point to a specific narrow track inside Commerce, or away from Commerce entirely).
My child is weak in Maths. Should we pick Commerce without Maths?
Commerce-without-Maths closes off CA, CFA, Economics-Hons, and most quantitative finance paths. The chart should drive this call — if Mercury and Saturn are well-placed and the 2nd house is strong, your child can usually push through Maths with coaching and keep options open. If Mercury is weak, Commerce-without-Maths is fine and the chart will point toward Marketing, HR, or Law-prep tracks.
Commerce or BBA — are they the same astrologically?
No. Class 11/12 Commerce is the stream; BBA is an undergraduate degree that comes after. The chart can fit Commerce but not BBA (e.g., a CA-leaning chart prefers B.Com + CA Foundation over a generalist BBA). The report names the specific Class 11 stream AND the recommended undergraduate degree, so the next two decisions are aligned.
My family runs a business — does that change the reading?
It should. A strong 2nd house, well-placed Sun, and independent Mars often point toward joining and growing a family business rather than a salaried corporate path.
